Broadcaster, Journalist
Author

I'm a longtime broadcaster and journalist. My anchoring has been heard on radio stations that include WABC. WINS, Bloomberg and WALK.

I have national experience at the Westwood One Radio, Wall Street Journal Radio, Blaze Radio and USA Radio.

On the writing side, I'm a Long Island editor at Patch.com. As a freelancer, my bylines have been featured in the New York Daily News, Broadcasting & Cable, Barrett News Media and Newsblues.

While digital reporter for WABC Radio, I enhanced coverage in the "Zoom pandemic era," with interviews that included Dr. Anthony Fauci and John Bolton.

I am excited to share my years of research, interviews and writing in the nonfiction broadcasting book: Here Now the News

An Inside Scoop into New York's Best-Loved Anchors

Join me for a look behind the camera at how the anchoring landscape changed forever in New York City---and across the country.

Dozens of broadcast professionals share memories of working with New York's most revered anchors.

The pages of  Here Now the News come alive with stories about Jim Jensen and Rolland Smith, Roger Grimsby and Bill Beutel, and Chuck Scarborough and Sue Simmons. It's an entertaining, informative look at those anchors, and others, who commanded respect and ratings during the 1970s and 1980s.

The "anchorman" would pave the way for other females at the desk, including Michele Marsh and Rose Ann Scamardella.

More diversity would follow with such talented Black journallsts as Carol Martin, Melba Tolliver and John Johnson, who are also featured prominently in Here Now the News

Beyond the studio, you'll get transported into the smoke-filled newsroom for a flavor of cigarettes and alcohol, not to mention drugs.
